Peter Warren Singer is Strategist at New America. Roger A. Grimes, Data-Driven Defense Evangelist for KnowBe4, Inc., is a 30-year computer security consultant, instructor, holder of dozens of computer certifications, and author of 10 books and over 1,000 magazine articles on computer security. He has spoken at many of the world’s biggest computer security conferences, been in Newsweek™ magazine, appeared on television, been interviewed for NPR’s All Things Considered™, and been a guest on dozens of radio shows and podcasts. He has worked at some of the world’s largest computer security companies, including Foundstone, McAfee, and Microsoft. Katie King, Miss Metaverse, The Worlds first Futurista®
Katie (Miss Metaverse) King is the world’s first Futurista®, one of the world’s most recognized female futurists, a techno-optimist, marketing strategist, YouTube and Podcast host and content creator, based in New York City. Fans and colleagues describe Katie as a “joyful, disruptive intellect” and “the queen of innovation.” Her background is in filmmaking, having produced and created original content for 11:11 Productions, AEG Productions, and Solaris Entertainment. Katie has collaborated on series for SPIKE, MTV, TruTV, Lifetime, Discovery, Nat Geo, and several others. She was cited as one of the world’s top female futurists by Future Exploration Network and Advanced Human Technologies.
She has spoken at events around the world, from North Dakota to Abu Dhabi, on topics as diverse as the future of work, life
extension, human/robot relationships, transhumanism and the future of transportation, to name a few.
In 2013, Katie created and launched the first female hosted futurist TV show called AwesomeFuture.TV (YouTube), focused on what’s going on in today’s world, tomorrow’s future and what it means for our society. BRIAN LEY, FOUNDER & CEO, ALPHARANK
Brian Ley, of Cary, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, has always been interested in how people’s behaviors, emotions, and spending habits affect a business’ success. In May of 2015, he combined his education and fascination to create Alpharank, a data-driven growth platform that helps small banks and credit unions increase deposits and grow their membership by mapping customer connections. They use financial institutions transactional data to find patterns and build graphs that group people with similar behaviors into communities. In turn, creating a target audience for specific marketing campaigns. Alpharank, which was officially launched in 2017 at Finovate, was voted the “Best New Technology” by 1,000 bankers. Two of their current investors include FIS and Wells Fargo. Its success in such a short period of time is what led Brian to be named the 2017 Top Innovator by Bank Innovation Magazine.
PAUL MADSEN, TECHNICAL LEAD, HEDERA HASHGRAPH
Paul Madsen is a technical lead at Hedera Hashgraph, the public DLT built on the hashgraph consensus algorithm. Madsen has participated in various design, chairing, editing and education roles for a number of identity standards, including OASIS SAML, OAuth 2.0 and FIDO Alliance. He holds a M.S. in Applied Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Carleton University and the University of Western Ontario, respectively.
Belinda Caillouet, FOUNDER & CEO, Looking Glass Consulting
Belinda Caillouet is an executive leader with 31 years of experience championing the credit union difference. A trusted technology partner and leader; she builds strong teams, leading and inspiring employees, and challenging them to reach their full potential. In 2018, Belinda started Looking Glass Consulting; a firm focused on meeting the complex technology needs of credit unions, FinTechs, and established vendors across the country, as well as providing leadership coaching. Prior to starting her consulting business, Belinda held the position of Chief Operations and Information Officer at STCU, where she oversaw the technology, operations, and retail divisions of the credit union.
Kyle Stutzman, VP Business Development, Pure IT - Cyber Security Track
Kyle provides a unique Credit Union Industry perspective and background to our team. As a former Credit Union IT leader, he brings our potential clients’ perspective to our business. Over his twelve plus years in the credit union space he has created a network of credit union CIOs and industry vendors which gives us excellent access to our target market and inside information on our competitive landscape. Kyle’s experience also includes Chief Operations Officer of OGO, a credit union focused IT disaster recovery and community cloud provider. From his COO experience he brings with him knowledge and experience on product & company acquisitions, process development & improvement skills, in depth knowledge on credit union regulatory IT needs, and experience guiding a fast-growing IT company. Beyond his key credit union industry knowledge, Kyle brings a mix of deep IT and business skills. No matter his title, his role in his more than 15 years in the IT and business world always included bridging the gap between business and IT units. This ability allows Kyle to both improve internal communication and also be a key resource for external sales and sales engineering roles. His business experience has the additional validation from his continued education focused on business leadership. He holds an Executive MBA from Colorado Technical University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Mennonite University.
Gene Fredriksen, Principal Cyber Security Consultant, Pure IT CUSO - Cyber Security Track
Gene has over thirty years of Information Technology experience, with the last twenty-five focused specifically in of Information Security. In this capacity, he has been heavily involved with all areas of Audit and Security. He specializes in credit union specific security, risk, and compliance assessments that result in strategic security roadmaps and systems design for security compliance and risk programs.
Gene serves as Chief Security Strategist for PSCU. He has also held the positions of Global CISOfor Tyco International, Principal Consultant for Security and Risk Management Strategies for Burton Group, Vice President of Technology Risk Management and Chief Security Officer for Raymond James Financial, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, and Information Security Manager for American Family Insurance.
He served as the Chair of the Security and Risk Assessment Steering Committee for BITS, as well as serving on the R&D committee for the Financial Services Sector Steering Committee of the Department of Homeland Security.He also served as an advisor on various cyber security steering committees for the administration of George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, assisting in the preparation of the president’s Cyber Security Position Paper.
Gene is a member of the SC Magazine Editorial Advisory Board.He has published numerous papers and books and is a frequent speaker before audit and security audiences and has served as Chair of the St. Petersburg College Information Security Advisory Board. He is a member of multiple advisory boards for universities, organizations, and security product companies. Gene attended the FBI Citizens Academy and maintains a close working relationship with both local and federal law enforcement agencies.
David Snodgrass, President and CEO, Lake Trust Credit Union,

With a focus on social purpose, in June 2017, Lake Trust became a CDFI, the largest in Michigan and among the top 10 largest in the U.S.
Previously, Snodgrass served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Affinity Federal Credit Union in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and President and Board Member of Affinity Financial Services LLC.
Snodgrass has served as Chairman of the New Jersey Council of CUES, is a former member of Filene’s i3 Innovation Group (2006-2009); and was named among the “40 Top Executives Under 40 in New Jersey” in 2006. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting, David also holds an MBA from LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
Currently, Snodgrass is a Chair of Mortgage Center’s Board of Directors, a Board member of CU Solutions Group, serves on the Board of Directors for LEAP, and Ann Arbor SPARK’s Executive Committee. He also serves on Filene’s CEO Council.
An active community service advocate, David trains for local road races that raise money for area charities. He has participated in the Credit Union industry-sponsored Cherry Blossom 10-mile run in Washington D.C. six times. He can also be found on the golf course, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his children and wife.
